As we roll out the new brand, it’s also important to have a new website. This website will help us communicate our destination. This “real estate” is the platform where we can control our messaging and put our best face forward.It will be the central location to which we’ll drive our potential customers.

We’re just starting the redesign process, and we expect the new site to launch in the first quarter of 2017. The website will be built according to the latest best practices. With the customer in mind, we’ll build the site so visitors can easily find the information they want and need. We’ve chosen Tucson-based Simpleview, Inc. to guide us through this process. In the past few years, Simpleview has launched more than 130 responsive websites. The firm is a leader in designing websites for destination marketing organizations.

Some of the website’s capabilities will include:

  • Enhanced partner listings, allowing you to upload photos of your business and update current information.
  • A “related content” module. This will encourage visitors to explore more information on the site.
  • Improved search engine optimization capabilities to make sure our site (and your business) can be found by search engines and web visitors.

This is a short list of what our new website capabilities. As we get closer to the launch, we’ll keep you informed about its progress and show you how to include your information on our site.
