SoIN Tourism Donation Request Policy
To ensure that SoIN Tourism is able to fairly and consistently support donation requests from organizations, businesses, partners, etc. we have established the following guidelines:
Eligibility Requirements
Donation requests will only be considered from organizations, businesses, or nonprofits that serve residents in Clark & Floyd Counties in Indiana.
Individual requests will be accepted if they are a resident of or have visitors coming to Clark & Floyd Counties.
If the donation request does not meet the above requirements, SoIN Tourism reserves the right to decline donating items.
Submission Guidelines
All donation requests must be submitted in writing to the Destination Services & Events Coordinator either via email or via the donation request form below.
If the request is for a specific event taking place in SoIN, please make sure the event is added to the GoSoIN.com events calendar. Events can be submitted through the Team SoIN partner portal or the online event submission form. Adding events to the website provides additional exposure and allows them to be considered for other SoIN Tourism marketing efforts.
Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to when the donations are needed by.
Requests submitted less than 2 weeks away from the deadline needed are subject to case-by-case approval by the Destination Services & Events Coordinator and are not guaranteed to be approved.
Frequency of Donations
In order to accommodate as many community groups and partners as possible, SoIN Tourism typically approves only one donation per organization per calendar year.
Any donations requests that are made past the organization’s first will be subject to approval by the Destination Services & Events Coordinator AND the Director of Sales & Services.
Donation Details
Donations are based on availability and size of event/group needed for. Every donation will always include our visitor guide.
We cannot guarantee being able to provide monetary donations, tickets, and/or gift cards.
Submitting a donation request does not guarantee that a donation will be provided.
Once your request has been processed, a SoIN Tourism representative will contact you regarding your donation pick-up.
