The first annual SoIN Tourism Awards will be presented to tourism industry professionals in Clark and Floyd counties during the Team SoIN Meeting and Holiday Party being held December 3, 2024.
Purpose
SoIN is a unique destination because of the experiences people have when visiting Southern Indiana. Our tourism partners create these experiences. The awards will lift up and recognize hospitality and tourism professionals in Clark and Floyd Counties.
- Recognize individuals who are inclusive and welcoming to visitors, new community members, and new businesses;
- Encourage collaboration within Clark and Floyd communities;
- Stimulate out-of-the-box thinking and reward partners for being creative and trying to develop new programs/services/products within the communities.
Eligibility
- Restaurants
- Attractions (museums, arts, farm experiences, etc.)
- Sporting and sports venues
- Hotels and lodging
- Tour companies
- Shops (boutiques, souvenir and gifts, etc.)
- Events and Festivals attracting people from out of town
- Music, arts, cultural festivals
- Sporting tournaments
- New to SoIN award: business must be open and serving customers between December 2023 and August 2024
