
Purpose
SoIN is a unique destination because of the experiences people have when visiting Southern Indiana. Our tourism partners create these experiences. The SoIN Tourism Awards lift up and recognize hospitality and tourism professionals in Clark and Floyd Counties. The awards:
- Recognize individuals who are inclusive and welcoming to visitors, new community members, and new businesses;
- Encourage collaboration within Clark and Floyd communities;
- Stimulate out-of-the-box thinking, rewarding partners for being creative and developing new programs, services, and products within our community.
Eligibility
- Restaurants
- Attractions (museums, arts, farm experiences, etc.)
- Sporting and sports venues
- Hotels and lodging
- Tour companies
- Shops (boutiques, souvenir and gifts, etc.)
- Events and Festivals attracting people from out of town
- Music, arts, cultural festivals
- Sporting tournaments
- New to SoIN award: business must be open and serving customers between September 2024 and August 2025
