Explore historic sites and earn prizes with “Historic SoIN: Red, White and Billie”
Southern Indiana (May 13, 2026) – Celebrate America’s 250th birthday in SoIN by trekking through Clark and Floyd county history with SoIN Tourism mascot Billie the Bison! “Historic SoIN: Red, White and Billie” is SoIN Tourism’s newest digital passport highlighting locations and people in Clark and Floyd counties that played a significant role in American history. Area residents and visitors can now sign up for the free, year-round digital passport, the organization’s first BINGO-style pass. From fossils to fried chicken, those who sign up can discover SoIN’s story one stop at a time.
“Historic SoIN: Red, White and Billie” takes participants to:
- Falls of the Ohio State Park, home to Devonian fossil beds, Lewis & Clark lore and the George Rogers Clark home site
- Howard Steamboat Museum to learn about the region’s storied steamboat history
- Town Clock Church, where congregation members supported the Underground Railroad network
- And more!
Earn Exclusive Prizes

Passholders who complete a regular BINGO can commemorate their historic adventure with an exclusive “Historic SoIN: Red, White and Billie” pin, patch and sticker pack. Passholders who cover their entire BINGO card score a bonus prize – a retro metal lunchbox filled with mystery SoIN swag! Prizes can be mailed or picked up at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center, 228 Spring St., Ste. 106, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. The visitor center is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
