Lewis & Clark Handshake Statue

This historic statue recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of its installation at the Falls of the Ohio State Park. The statue, sculpted by late artist Carol Grende, marks the location where Lewis and Clark began their partnership ahead of their famous expedition. It honors the explorers as well as Stephan E. Ambrose, a historian and author who was dedicated to studying Lewis and Clark. See the statue in all of its glory and learn some history as well.
