Pumpkins aren't just for painting, eating or carving anymore.

Harvest Homecoming's Pumpkin Chunking Competition returns, attracting thousands of spectators who want to watch 7lbs pumpkins hurled 100 yards in the air by way of gravity powered trebuchet's created by adult, middle and high school teams from all over.

Make sure you're there to catch the high flying action on October 8 as 36 teams compete for accuracy, originality, and efficiency awards.
