Meet the Artist
I was born in the Midwest, where I still reside. I have three grown children, seven grandchildren and a wonderful husband.
I have always enjoyed art, in fact, to start off with a new box of crayons was always a high point for me during my elementary years. However, I never started to paint until I was forty.
My first exposure was in oils at an adult education class. I later enrolled in a junior college to take painting and drawing classes from a fantastic teacher. This was the same year that I was awarded the outstanding art student award.
I have taken, and continue to take workshops. I also read art material.
I have been able to travel to Paris, London, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, and Italy.
I belong to several art leagues in my area, and enter juried shows.
