Fossils are evidence of pre-existing life – but what causes a fossil to form? This program, illustrated with photos of fossils from around the world, will describe the processes to make a fossil and why some life forms are almost never preserved. Park naturalist and paleontologist Alan Goldstein will speak. The program is free with regular interpretive center admission.
