Tips for Collecting Fossils & Minerals - Family Nature Club

Fossil and mineral collecting is a fun pastime because you can find all sorts of interesting things. Led by naturalist and paleontologist Alan Goldstein, he will offer collecting tips: Where are fossils and minerals found? What is the right tool to use? What books and resources are helpful? (And more.) If you have a question about a tool, bring it and Alan will tell you if it will do the job safely. This free program will be held in the Interpretive Center rotunda or picnic area if the weather allows.
