Fossils of the Coal Age are found in Indiana, Kentucky and surrounding states. This presentation will describe why fossil plants are so abundant, and the significance of the Pennsylvanian Period (315 – 298 million years ago) in the history of life. Presented by Herb Miracle, who has been collecting fossil plants for many years.
