Dan Phelps, President of the Kentucky Paleontological Society, will discuss the significance of the Cambrian explosion in our understanding of the history of life. It’s a term paleontologists use to describe the sudden appearance of diverse life with an exoskeleton, like trilobites, brachiopods, mollusks, and echinoderms.
