Join us on Friday, November 12th, 6:00-10:00 pm for a fun-filled exciting evening! After enjoying a wonderful dinner, we’ll see some REAL OWLS presented by the Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Center and learn about their habitats and fun facts. Then, we’ll throw on our coats and hats to explore the nearby woods while calling owls. The night hike will be led by a naturalist, Rod Goforth. Hoo-Hoo-Hoo! November is a great time to call owls! The evening will conclude with a bonfire and s’mores.
Please wear warm clothes, comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight or headlamp for our night hike on Friday.
On Saturday, November 13th, 8:00-11:00 am, come for a sunrise hike with a naturalist, Rod Goforth while identifying many migratory birds during their fall migration. We’ll meet inside for a warm country breakfast and a discussion about the birds we’ve seen. Afterward, we’ll head out for another hike to explore more of the habitats and creatures at the Mount.
