Opening Reception, Estuary: a Staff and Community Artist Showcase

The Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center is proud to present our next upcoming exhibition, Estuary: a Staff and Community Artist Showcase. In nature, the brackish waters of estuaries create highly productive ecosystems in the shallows and along the shore, providing fertile ground for diverse species to flourish alongside each other. In that same spirit, the Museum is proud to shine a light on the diverse creative individuals that help us navigate our own brackish waters and create a flourishing environment for our patrons and community. This exhibit features the work of Floyd County Library and Cultural Arts Center staff artists Josh Bleecker, Al Gorman, Jessica Hartman, Bethany Parish, and Daniel Vance, as well as a selection of works from members of the Cultural Arts Center’s Artists Roundtable Feedback Group. Estuary: a Staff and Community Artist Showcase will be on display December 11th, 2025 - April 11th, 2026 with an Opening Reception on Thursday, December 11th from 5-7 PM.
