Do you love the outdoors, fossils or history? Have you thought about volunteering? Come to the Falls of the Ohio State Park Interpretive Center and learn about our Naturalist at Heart program. From 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 to 3 PM, we will have a meet and greet “open house” where you can learn about this opportunity to volunteer with rewards like meeting visitors from around the world, making the park more beautiful, teaching children, learning through our classes, recognition activities and more!

Rob Lane, volunteer coordinator, and Alan Goldstein, Interpretive Naturalist will discuss how to become a volunteer and what makes the Falls of the Ohio unique in the world. Get a taste of what we do with sample programs from park volunteers who help at the Interpretive Center, George Rogers Clark home site, and on the fossil beds.

The Falls of the Ohio is an island of nature and history in the center of a large metropolitan community. Discover what we can offer – and how you can become part of it all!
