Some minerals lead double lives. In ordinary light, they have ordinary colors. But under ultraviolet light they glow with extraordinary colors. Gray or white crystals suddenly become yellow or green or red. Mineral collector, Jim Lobb, will bring a selection of specimens that fluoresce under ‘UV’ lights. Learn why some glow and others don’t.
