Honoring Revolutionary War Veteran Maj. George Slaughter

We will unveil a grave marking along with an Indiana Historical Marker recognizing Maj. Slaughter, who served under George Washington and George Rodgers Clark, fighting in major battles before residing in present day Clark County.
The event celebrates America 250 and is being hosted by the City of Charlestown, the Indiana Dept. of the American Revolution Ann Rogers Clark Chapter, and the Indiana Society, Sons of the American Revolution Clifty Creek Chapter.
