The Carnegie Center for Art and History presents Form, Not Function: Quilt Art at the Carnegie, an annual exhibition of contemporary art quilts. The exhibition opens Friday, May 24, 2019, with a members-only gallery talk at 5:30 PM, and a public opening reception 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The exhibition continues through July 20, 2019. Since its founding in 2004, the show has become one of the premier exhibitions of contemporary art quilts in the nation. Each year, three guest jurors independently select art quilts to include in the exhibition. This year, 18 art quilts were selected from hundreds of submissions by artists from across the United States.
