Is your daughter or son fascinated with fossils or want to be a paleontologist when he/she grows up? The Falls of the Ohio State Park is offering a one-day family camp geared to children age 7 to 12. Hands-on activities include: What are fossils? Where are they found? How do I identify fossils? Participants will learn how they lived. If weather is suitable, we will have a fossil bed hike. Hands-on activities focus on fossils - what they are, how to find and identify them, and to learn how they lived. Parent or guardian participation is part of the experience. Bring a sack lunch. Limited to 12 families. Contact Dani at the Falls of the Ohio Foundation to register; Dani@FallsOfTheOhio.org or 812-283-4499.
