An evening talk with Naturalist Jeremy Beaven

The Howard Steamboat Museum is pleased to welcome Indiana Department of Natural Resources Interpretive Naturalist Jeremy Beavin for an engaging and informative talk titled “Native and Invasive Plants” on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Carriage House Event Center at the Howard Steamboat Museum.

Guests are invited to arrive early for a social hour from 6:00–7:00 p.m., during which Mr. Beavin will be available to mingle and answer questions informally. His presentation will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and conclude at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Jeremy Beavin is a highly respected authority on native landscaping and environmental education. In addition to his work with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, he is the owner of Native Landscape Consulting and has led numerous expeditions and interpretive programs at Charlestown State Park, including the historic site of Rose Island Amusement Park, as well as the new Origin Park in western Clark County.

We are proud to welcome Jeremy to the Howard Steamboat Museum and grateful that he is taking time from his busy schedule to share his extensive knowledge with our guests.
