Here we grow again! Downtown Jeffersonville’s dining scene will welcome some pretty cool restaurants in the coming months. Here’s a peek at what’s on the restaurant growth menu. All of the restaurants are expected to open this fall. Check back in a few weeks for updates.
Pearl Street Taphouse
The new Pearl Street TapHouse will serve mostly local brews. Appetizers will also be served, but not deep-fried. Owners Teri Taylor and Kelly Conn vow never to use a deep fryer. It will be located in one of the four homes saved through Jeffersonville Main Street's preservation efforts. “Indiana farms meet the sea” is the concept behind the Portage House. Chef Paul Skulas’s goal is to represent the area and the state well with a menu capped at prices of $25-$30. When the historic home’s restoration is complete, the second floor will include dining space overlooking the Ohio. Location: 117 E. Rendering of the outdoor social space and carriage house at Parlour. Chef Allan Rosenberg of Papalinos Pizza is creating the menu for a high-quality pizza place in the former Old Bridge Inn location. Owner Alex Tinker’s plans include a beer garden, outdoor patio, a 40-tap bar in the carriage house, and an onsite vegetable garden. The Parlour will also cure its own meats. Location: 131 W. For more than 10 years, Hobknob Coffee Company has roasted and served quality coffees from its Floyds Knobs location. Owner Aaron Lundy’s vision for the Jeffersonville location is a true coffee bar where people can relax and socialize over a cup of coffee. The new location will offer a similar menu with more seating space.
