The Indiana Office of Tourism Development is accepting grant applications for two grant programs. These programs focus on promoting festivals and events and on developing marketing assets.

Festival and Events program

The festival and events grants will help promote events in Indiana that have a historical, cultural, artistic or culinary focus. Grants of up to $8,000 will be awarded to selected organizations.

To be eligible, the event must:

  • Have been in existence for at least two years
  • Have a pre-existing marketing budget equal to at least 10% of the event’s gross revenue

Marketing Assets program

The marketing assets grant program is designed to fund collateral material such as websites, mobile apps, print collateral, video content, wayfinding signage, directional signage and the like to increase awareness among leisure travelers.

This program is designed to enhance an organization’s marketing and promotional effectiveness. Proposals will be funded at a ratio of one grant dollar for every dollar from an eligible applicant. The program also aims to fostering collaboration among partners. If organizations work together, it will fund proposals with two dollars for every one dollar the applicant invests. This program is not intended to fund paid advertising or media buys.

To be eligible, projects should:

  • Be completed within 12 months.
  • Fund collateral material (websites, mobile apps, print collateral, video content, wayfinding signage, etc.

Grants will be awarded on a 1:1 matching ratio, not to exceed $25,000.
