As Director of Operations, Nicole Kraemer will oversee organizational systems and processes, including billing, payroll and HR. She will also manage the SoIN hot air balloon program and company events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and the organization continues to flourish.

“Nicole’s duties and skills have evolved over her decade with us, and we are so happy to recognize her with a promotion to a director-level position,” said Epperson. “This formalizes the role she has already taken on as a member of the senior management team.”

After joining the SoIN team in 2014 as a temporary employee, Kraemer was quickly promoted to Operations Manager. She played a key role in strengthening partner relationships and elevating SoIN’s presence in the community following the organization’s rebranding. In 2020, her role expanded to include accounts payable where she streamlined processes to ensure smooth financial operations. Her proactive approach helped SoIN Tourism navigate challenges for the organization and industry due to the pandemic. In 2024, she successfully led SoIN Tourism’s office relocation, creating a welcoming and functional space that reflects the organization’s values. Kraemer graduated from the 2020 Leadership Southern Indiana Discover Class and recently celebrated her 10th anniversary with SoIN Tourism.

Lieber joined the SoIN team in 2022 as Visitor Services Coordinator. In this role, he led the Southern Indiana Visitor Center in welcoming guests to the area and helped improve the footprint and awareness of SoIN locally and nationally.
