
Southern Indiana (Oct. 5, 2023) – Fall foliage and activities are plentiful in Southern Indiana and a new digital passport can help make sure you catch it all! Area residents and visitors can now sign up for the Scenic SoIN passport, a free digital passport that takes users to favorite outdoor attractions, as well as hidden gems, all located in Clark and Floyd counties in Southern Indiana.
Those who sign up for the Scenic SoIN passport can:
- Walk in the footsteps of the Lewis & Clark expedition and explore 390-million-year-old fossils at Falls of the Ohio State Park
- Meander through scenic vineyards before apple picking at Huber’s Orchard & Winery
- Pose with Rosie the Riveter at Ashland Park while taking in the Louisville skyline
- Hike some (or all) of Knobstone Trail (Indiana’s longest trail) at Deam Lake State Recreation Area
- Take a selfie and a stroll along New Albany’s historic Mansion Row
- And more!
Passholders can view all participating locations and prizes in their passport conveniently located on their smartphone. While exploring, passholders earn entries into a grand prize drawing. Once they check in at 10 locations, they earn a unique print created just for Scenic SoIN passholders.
Win Artwork by SoIN Native
Passholders can commemorate their adventures with an 11” x 14” print created by Graphic Designer, Illustrator and SoIN native Matthew Clinard. The print features icons representing several of the attractions found on the Scenic SoIN passport. After checking in at 10 locations, passholders can claim their print. Prints will be directly mailed to passholders.
Grand Prize Drawing
Each check in also earns passholders an entry into the grand prize drawing! The SoIN Ultimate Outdoor Adventure grand prize package includes:
- A one-night stay at Stone Creek Cabin
- A clay shooting experience at The Sporting Club at the Farm
- A gift card to The Woods ATV Adventures
- A gift card to the newly opened Bicycle Station
Scenic SoIN is a year-round passport. The first grand prize winner will be drawn in the spring of 2024.

Those interested in signing up for the free Scenic SoIN passport can visit GoSoIN.com/passports to join. Once they create a login, participants can easily add the digital passport to their smartphones for quick access. The website also includes more details on the passport, including an image of the print and a video with step-by-step instructions on how to sign up.
