Executive Director, Jim Epperson, appeared on 5 live radio broadcasts promoting Southern Indiana. DJs interviewed guests from the Louisville area who highlighted the variety of events and activities surrounding the Kentucky Derby Festival.
Every year, radio shows broadcast live for the “Morning Line” from the Kentucky Derby Museum. Epperson promoted Southern Indiana to listeners in these markets: Ashland, Bowling Green, Mt. Sterling, Madisonville, and Somerset on Tuesday, April 28.
More than 1.5 million people enjoy the 70 special events of the Kentucky Derby Festival each year. Southern Indiana shines in the spotlight alongside Louisville during the Derby experience with events like Thunder Over Louisville, the Great Steamboat Race, and the U.S. Bank Derby Festival Great Balloonfest.
