Local runners and walkers will carry the state’s bicentennial torch through Clark and Floyd Counties today and tomorrow. As part of Indiana’s 200th birthday celebration, the torch will pass through each one of the state’s 92 counties.
The Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay is designed to inspire and unify Hoosiers in the 2016 Bicentennial celebration.
Thursday, Sept. 15
3-7 p.m., Floyd County
Friday, Sept. 16
9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Clark County
